The ELF unit on the 4th of July 1969 that represented the true ideals of the Eritrean revolution. If you do good, it pays in leaps and pounds. An American who worked in the Kagnew Station and with history students from the US, recollects (almost 40 years later) his encounter with the unit. They were briefly detained, treated with great respect, informed about the ELF and released. Still trying to find more info about the unit and who that unit leader was? Anyone with more info?
