The regime has turned Eritrea
into a 'living hell'. Understandably, almost everyone tries to leave that hell
at the slightest possible opportunity. We rejoice and get excited whenever high
profile military or political figures or known artists and others abandon the
regime. We are glad they made it to safety. Yet many perish before they reach a
safer destination. Every defection wears and tears the regime, but the straw
that breaks the regime's back is yet to come. Change will come only when we
realize- those of us inside and outside the country- that we can change this
'hell' into something better for all of us, when we believe and work
effectively to reclaim our country, rather than just leave it, before it is too
late!
How to reclaim it before is too late?
