There is hardly any person who had something to do with the University of Asmara since independence who does not know Dr. Tekie Asehun, a great human being, an academic and administrative icon at the University. His life story always fascinated me. He was born into a rich family but lost both his parents in one week time and ended up in an orphanage, yet he made it to the University. This is his interview with the Graduation Bulletin 2014. I am glad that he made it to safety, at last
